In the current editor experience, images selected through the upload control are read by your browser and rendered onto an HTML canvas for editing and export. The MemeMad meme generator is built around client-side browser technologies such as the FileReader API and HTML canvas. When you choose an image in the current editor, the browser reads that selected file so the editor can display, crop, move, filter, caption and export the meme.

You decide when to download or copy the finished meme and where to share it afterward.
No Automatic Public Posting
Selecting an image for editing does not, by itself, mean the image is publicly posted to MemeMad.com.
If MemeMad later introduces optional cloud storage, accounts, community publishing, AI processing, server-side image conversion, or other upload-based services, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide additional notice describing how those features handle files.
